Patrick is currently working for the LA gay and Lesbian center Youth Services as a program coordinator for HOPWA, which is a program for HIV+ youth, in the past he has collaborated with APAIT on the South Asian Project, and is still involved with them on issue's that deal with HIV+ youth, is the incoming Chair for political affair for Trikone-LA a co-gender LGBT South Asian group, and is been involved with formation of a second South Asian group Queer Awaaz in LA, has been Involved with South Asian Network a main Stream South Asian organization, on issues of LGBT and AIDS awareness in the Indian community. He has also been involved with Federation of Indian Association and Secular Indian Movement and has done some public speaking at their events on the what it is to be south Asian and queer and how HIV effects the community. He is a Board member of "Immigration Equality" LA a chapter of the Lesbian gay Immigration Rights Task Force, which raises awareness in the LGBT Community and provides support to people who are going through Immigration crises and coordinates events with other people of color organization on issues that Impact Immigrant. He is a past chair for Political Affair for APGF. He has been out since 1995 and has been involved with LGBT and Asian Community since then.
